The endless focus mechanism eliminates lamp shock when full focus is reached, thereby eliminating any risk of physical damage to the 2000W FEY bulb. Accessories can be loaded and locked with the lamp burning thanks to the spring loaded accessory lock or “quick-release top latch.” Standard specifications include actual three slot accessory holders or “ears” eliminating the need to screw in accessories into the body of the light fixture as required by some lesser quality imitations.
A 4-leaf rotating barndoor with gel clips (constructed with screws, washers & nuts – NOT rivets!), safety wire mesh screen, hi-temp composite body and a 20 foot power cable with super-heavy-duty 20A non-fused On/Off switch are all standard.
Another standard feature of the Photon Beard BLONDE tungsten light also include DUAL standardized accessory diameter of 10” & 10 1/8”. This means the widely popular wire diffusion (scrim) size of 10” and the occasionally needed 10 1/8” size can both be used along with the easy to find Chimera® 9225 DUAL BLOCK or 9195 DUAL BLOCK speed rings. Additional accessories exclusive to the Photon Beard BLONDE TUNGSTEN OPEN FACE LIGHT are dichroic daylight filters, Fresnel lenses and snoots offering creative ability never before seen with a BLONDE or open face fixture!
