The workhorses of studio and location lighting for decades, the top quality ORIGINAL and GENUINE Photon Beard 650W & 1000W REDHEAD TUNGSTEN LIGHT feature complete specification and performance with quality construction manufactured in the UK.
The endless focus mechanism eliminates lamp shock when full focus is reached, thereby eliminating any risk of physical damage to the bulb. Accessories can be loaded and locked with the lamp burning thanks to the spring loaded accessory lock or “quick-release top latch.” Standard specifications include actual three slot accessory holders or “ears” eliminating the need to screw in accessories into the body of the light fixture as required by some lesser quality imitations.
A 4-leaf rotating barndoor with gel clips (constructed with screws, washers & nuts – NOT rivets!), safety wire mesh screen, hi-temp composite body, and a 20 foot power cable with non-fused On/Off switch are all standard.
Another standard feature of the Photon Beard REDHEAD tungsten light also include standardized accessory diameter of 6 5/8”. This means the widely popular wire diffusion (scrim) size of 6 5/8” can be used along with the easy to find Chimera® 9670AL speed ring. A Baby 407 speed ring may also be used. Additional accessories exclusive to the Photon Beard REDHEAD are dichroic daylight filters, Fresnel lenses and snoots offering creative ability never before seen with a REDHEAD or open face fixture!
