ARRI S30-RP Daylight Overview
ARRI expands its LED lineup with the introduction of the SkyPanel S30-RP Daylight LED Remote Phosphor Softlight, featuring a blue and silver finish. This versatile lighting solution is ideal for both studio and mobile applications, supported by a pole-operated aluminum yoke that allows for precise and convenient adjustments. With a compact 14 x 11.8″ panel surface area, the S30-RP delivers powerful daylight-balanced illumination, equivalent to a 1,000W tungsten soft light, while consuming only 240W of power, making it both efficient and effective.
The SkyPanel S30-RP employs advanced remote phosphor technology, where powerful native LEDs excite a 5,600K phosphor panel to achieve precise color temperature output with a CRI of over 94. This method not only simplifies the internal electronics?resulting in a lower price point?but also increases brightness by approximately 10% compared to the color-tuneable S30-C version.
Advanced Features and Control
The S30-RP is equipped with a 5,600K remote phosphor panel, perfect for daylight-balanced lighting needs. Additional panels are available in other color temperatures, including 2,700K, 3,200K, 4,300K, and 6,500K, each offering high CRI values. A Chroma Green panel is also available for specialized lighting applications. The light offers smooth 0-100% dimming, which can be adjusted locally using the onboard controls or remotely via DMX or LAN connections, offering flexibility in various production settings. A USB-A port is also included for firmware updates, ensuring the light stays current with the latest technology.

The SkyPanel S30-RP is renowned for its true soft light quality, providing smooth, even illumination with a homogeneous beam field. The LED light engine is designed for a long lifespan of up to 50,000 hours and is re-calibratable to maintain consistent color accuracy over time.
