- ARRI expands its renowned LED lineup with the black SkyPanel S30-C LED Softlight, designed to deliver superior color rendering and versatile lighting solutions in a compact form. Supported by a sturdy manual aluminum yoke, this softlight features a 14 x 11.8″ panel surface area, making it a perfect portable light source for mobile and on-the-go productions. Despite its compact size, the SkyPanel S30-C offers output comparable to a 1000W tungsten soft light while consuming only 240W of power.
- The SkyPanel S30-C is fully color-tuneable, allowing for precise adjustments from a warm 2800K to a cool 10,000K. It employs the advanced RGB+W color gamut, enabling fine control over hue, saturation, and green/magenta balance. This broad range of control ensures a high CRI of over 95 and a TLCI rating exceeding 91, making it ideal for professional film and television production.
- Advanced Features and Control
- The SkyPanel S30-C offers versatile lighting options with interchangeable thermoplastic diffusers, including Standard, Lite, and Heavy versions, allowing you to tailor the light?s softness and coverage. This ensures the light wraps around subjects beautifully, producing natural, soft shadows?perfect for beauty lighting.
- Derived from the technology used in ARRI’s L7-C Fresnel lights, the SkyPanel S30-C?s advanced light engine is meticulously calibrated to ensure consistent color output across different units and batches. Users can control these features locally via the onboard interface or remotely through DMX or LAN connections. The fixture also includes a USB-A port for easy firmware updates, ensuring the light remains up-to-date with the latest features.
- Versatile and Durable Design
- Designed for both studio and location work, the SkyPanel S30-C operates on multi-voltage AC power (90-250 VAC) and can also be powered by optional 23-36 VDC batteries, providing flexibility in various shooting environments. With a 110? beam spread, it?s ideal for a wide range of applications, from creating soft, even lighting to functioning as a space light with optional silk cylinders for color-controlled soft light.
- Built to withstand the rigors of daily production use, the SkyPanel S30-C is crafted in Germany using a durable combination of an aluminum core and fiberglass-reinforced thermoplastics. The fixture is designed to last, with an expected electronic lifespan between 25,000 and 50,000 hours, and the LED light engine can be recalibrated for long-term color accuracy.

- The SkyPanel S30-C is designed for ease of use, featuring a user-friendly interface with three simple knobs for adjusting color temperature, green/magenta balance, light intensity, and hue/saturation.
