ARRI S120-C Overview
The ARRI SkyPanel S120-C LED Softlight expands the SkyPanel series with a wider format design, providing a larger light aperture and maintaining the exceptional quality and control associated with ARRI. The S120-C features a panel surface area of 50.8 x 11.8 inches, which provides an expansive and even light spread, making it ideal for a wide range of professional lighting applications, including film, television, and photography.
Advanced Color Control
The S120-C is fully color-tuneable, allowing precise adjustment of light output from a warm 2800K to a cool 10,000K, encompassing the full RGB+W spectrum. This extensive color control, including hue and saturation adjustments, provides maximum flexibility for creative lighting. The fixture also includes full minusgreen to full plusgreen control, essential for balancing different lighting conditions or achieving specific visual effects. With a CRI of 95 and a TLCI of 90, the S120-C ensures natural and accurate color reproduction.
High Output and Superior Soft Light Quality
Despite its large size and full color-tuneable capabilities, the SkyPanel S120-C delivers high light output equivalent to a 2000W tungsten soft light while only consuming 430W. The design ensures a smooth, uniform beam with no hotspots, making it ideal for key lighting. The soft light quality is enhanced by the fixture’s ability to wrap its output around subjects, creating pleasing, natural shadows without harsh edges.
Versatile and Durable Design
The SkyPanel S120-C is designed for versatility. It features interchangeable diffusion panels, allowing users to switch between heavy, medium, and lite diffusion to achieve the desired light quality. The large light aperture makes it suitable for various applications, from beauty lighting to large area washes. Additionally, it can be used as a space light, providing a broad pool of light through an optional silk cylinder.
Constructed to ARRI?s high standards, the S120-C is made from a combination of aluminum and fiberglass-reinforced thermoplastics, ensuring durability and longevity even in demanding environments. The electronics are designed to last up to 50,000 hours, with easily accessible components for servicing.

The SkyPanel S120-C is user-friendly, featuring an intuitive interface with three simple knobs for adjusting color temperature, green/magenta balance, light intensity, and hue/saturation. For remote operation, the fixture is compatible with DMX and LAN network connections, making it easy to integrate into complex lighting setups. Firmware updates are easily managed via the USB-A port, ensuring the fixture stays updated with the latest features.
