ARRI S360-C Overview
The ARRI SkyPanel S360-C is a flagship model in ARRI’s SkyPanel line, offering a large light aperture of 50.4 x 34.4 inches, making it one of the most substantial LED softlights on the market. Designed for large-scale productions, it provides the equivalent output of an 8000W tungsten soft light while drawing only 1500W, making it highly energy-efficient.
Color Control and Quality
The S360-C features full gamut RGB+W color control, with a color temperature range from 2800K to 10,000K, plus additional controls for hue, saturation, and green/magenta adjustments. With a CRI of 95 and a TLCI rating of 90, this light ensures precise and accurate color rendering, essential for professional video and photography work.
Wireless and Wired DMX Control
The S360-C is equipped with built-in LumenRadio CRMX wireless DMX, allowing for seamless integration into wireless DMX setups. It also supports traditional wired DMX, RDM, Art-Net, sACN, 5-Pin XLR, and Ethernet control options, providing versatile control methods for various production environments.
Dynamic Effects and Versatility
This light supports advanced dynamic lighting effects such as fire, police lights, and paparazzi flashes, which are more impressive given the large aperture of the S360-C. The light also features swappable diffusion panels, including Lite, Standard, Heavy, and an Intensifier, which increases brightness by 50% for long-throw applications.
Construction and Portability
The S360-C comes with a state-of-the-art carbon fiber yoke, which reduces the weight by over 50% compared to steel yokes while maintaining strength and durability. This feature, combined with its robust build, makes it a reliable fixture for heavy daily use on set.
