  • The ARRI M90 HMI Lamp Head bridges the gap between the M40 and the ARRIMAX 18/12, offering a powerful lighting solution with advanced reflector technology. The M90 leverages MAX Reflector Technology to focus light from 15 to 49?, combining the best aspects of Fresnel and PAR fixtures. This design choice allows the M90 to produce an output similar to that of a 12,000W light, even though it uses a 9,000W lamp.

  • The M90 is engineered for high efficiency, delivering the output of a 12K PAR fixture while maintaining the size and weight closer to that of a 6K PAR. This makes it a versatile choice for both studio and location work, particularly in scenarios requiring powerful lighting with precise control.

  • The M90 is built with durability in mind, featuring an IP23 weather resistance rating, making it capable of withstanding various environmental conditions. It comes with a sturdy yoke that includes tilt locks on both sides to support heavy accessories securely. This design ensures that the 88 lb fixture remains stable and secure during operation.
  • Advanced Ballast Options
  • The M90 requires a compatible ballast for operation, with two advanced options available. Both ballasts incorporate CCL (Compensation of Cable Losses) technology to ensure consistent power delivery even with long cable runs. They also feature Active Line Filter (ALF) for power savings and built-in DMX for remote operation. The high-speed 1000 Hz version of the ballast allows flicker-free performance at up to 1,000 frames per second, making it ideal for high-speed photography and film.
