Last weekend, the MACCAM family joined the action at CineGear Expo 2025, celebrating the heart of the film industry right on the historic backlot at Universal Studios. From reconnecting with clients to sharing laughs with friends old and new, we were proud to be part of an event that brings together our vibrant creative community in such an iconic setting.
Surrounded by legendary sets from Back to the Future, Psycho, Jurassic Park, and more, the two-day event was the perfect place to connect, learn, and geek out over the latest gear. We connected with industry pros, demoed cutting-edge lighting tech, and soaked in the energy of filmmakers and technicians who make movie magic happen every day.

We brought the party with us! Our evening mixer welcomed clients, collaborators, and friends from across the industry to unwind, talk shop, and celebrate what we love most! Storytelling through light and lens. In a time of rapid change across the film industry, we had an amazing chance to reconnect, share ideas, and remind ourselves why community matters.
From catching up with friends, to meeting new faces, it was a joy to spend time with the people who make this industry feel like home.
