The MB-256 is a professional matte box featuring a secure Quick-Lock system for direct attachment to lenses with a non-rotating front barrel up to 114mm in diameter. For added stability, it can also be configured for use on LWS rods with optional support hardware, including a swing-away bracket.
It includes one fixed and one fully rotating 4"x4" filter stage and is compatible with a wide range of filter sizes (from 3"x3" to 4"x6" with appropriate trays). Designed for versatility, it works with most wide-angle lenses in both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios. The integrated internal eyebrow system and included top flag (French flag) provide superior, multi-directional flare protection.
