Built around Aputure’s advanced BLAIR-CG light engine, the STORM CS32 produces output levels comparable to a 4K HMI, reaching up to 105,300 lux at 9.8' when paired with the included medium reflector at 5600K.
Despite its powerful output, the STORM CS32 features a compact lamp head measuring just 15.6 x 14.2 x 13", making it practical for single-operator setups, while the control box maintains a streamlined footprint for easier transport and rigging. Designed for filmmakers, rental houses, and large-scale productions, it combines high-performance illumination with efficient handling.
At the heart of the STORM CS32 is Aputure’s innovative BLAIR-CG light engine, which combines blue, lime, amber, indigo, red, cyan, and green emitters to achieve outstanding color quality and white-light accuracy. The addition of indigo enhances natural fluorescence, while extended red output helps deliver richer, more accurate skin tones.
This advanced light engine enables the fixture to produce vibrant saturated colors and clean, natural white light, giving cinematographers and lighting professionals greater creative control while maintaining reliable color consistency.
The STORM CS32 offers an ultra-wide color temperature range from 1800K to 20,000K, allowing seamless adaptation to virtually any lighting environment. It also supports green adjustment, HSIC+ control, and x,y coordinate color tuning, covering more than 90% of the Rec. 2020 color space.
