This wider spread allows the fixture to produce over 190,000 lumens while retaining 24 pixel zones for dynamic effects and complex lighting simulations. For filmmakers and lighting designers seeking a wide native soft output, the Vortex24 Soft delivers a smooth, flattering, and evenly distributed light across its full 110° beam. Impressive Output Powered by Creamsource’s Color Management System (CCMS), the Vortex24 Soft maintains high output while preserving a softer quality of light—ideal for smaller spaces or closer placement to talent and camera. It delivers a bare output of 66,659 lux at 3.3' and 5600K, or 52,386 lux at the same distance and CCT when using the included XWIDE lens, providing an even softer yet bright result. Color Management System The advanced Creamsource Color Management System (CCMS) is the result of precise factory calibration combined with sophisticated software algorithms operating in CIE XY color space. This system ensures consistent, high-quality light output across fixtures, accurate color at all dimming levels, and compensation for temperature variations. Users benefit from 0–100% dimming with an exceptionally smooth low-end response. Its IP65 rating ensures protection against rain, snow, and dust, while an ultraquiet fan-based cooling system with low-noise variable speed fans maintains efficient thermal management without disrupting on-set sound. Design The fixture incorporates seamless rigging points via LNX and is constructed from durable aluminum and technopolymer. It features eight LNX sockets and eight 3/8"-16 rigging points, along with a removable quick release yoke and integrated power supply for streamlined setup and transport. House Power Mode Building on features from the Vortex8, the Vortex24 Soft significantly increases output while reducing the need for multiple fixtures. Drawing 1950W, it operates on standard circuits and includes a House Power mode for 15A operation. A built-in ballast improves portability, and the included power cable allows for fast, ready-to-use deployment. Additional Details Dual front-mount rails allow for fast attachment and removal of modifiers directly from the front of the fixture.
